Ivete Sangalo

Ivete sangalo is a very famous singer all over the world. She was born in Salvador, in 1972. She used to sing with her six brothers and sisters in different events like school festivals and parties. But it was only when her sister Mônica Sangalo took her to her first small presentation in a bar in Ondina, a neighborhood in Salvador, Bahia, that Ivete became a professional singer. Her first band was Banda Eva that started in 1993 with the hit "Adeus, bye, bye". She recorded five albums with Banda Eva. Ivete Sangalo's first solo CD(1999) was nominated for the Latin Grammy in the categories Revelation and Best Pop Solo Album. In her career she has launched 13 albums (solo and with Banda Eva). Her style is axé, very famous in Brazil.

I like Ivete a lot because she is very funny, cheerful, beautiful and nice. Her famous songs are "Sorte Grande", "Alô paixão", "Festa", "Abalou", "Carro Velho", "Eva" and "De ladinho".
